Bilbomática achieves CMMI certification in its Level 2 (Capability Maturity Model Integration )

After more than one year of work, Bilbomática S.A. received last 11th June the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)Level 2 Certification, awarded by the Carnegie Mellon Software Engineering Institute.

This CMMI Quality certification (Capability Maturity Model Integration), aimed at software development companies, implies the highest international award in this field and grants that software developed by Bilbomática S.A. is supported by the most competitive and high quality standards, which are the most demanded and valued internationally.

CMMI is a model for the improvement or evaluation of development processes and maintenance of systems and software products. Some of its benefits are the saving in the development costs and an important improvement in productivity, together with planning and quality of the end product. All these features imply a clear benefit for customers.

Bilbomática has achieved the certification in its Level 2: “Managed”, which allows management and a global follow up of the planning and execution of the process, easing integral control of projects.
