Bilbomática has been awarded by the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Sales for its Quality Management and because it has been one of the first Spanish Companies to achieve the CMMI certification.
CONECTIC (Spanish Confederation of Information and Communication Technologies & Electronic Companies), together with the Industry, Tourism and Sales Ministry, celebrates a workshop on “Collaboration in the promotion and improvement of competitiveness in the Information and Communication Technologies Sector”, with the main target of highlighting the need of raising Companies’ awareness concerning the deployment of Management System’s reassuring an improvement in the competitiveness of the Software Industry.
During the event the Plan Avanza Competitividad (I+D+I) (Competitiveness) and Avanza Formación (Training) Plans will be introduced, together with future initiatives for businesses in this area.
Last, the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Sales, will award Bilbomática for its effort in the area of Quality and in the development of its Software Factory, and the company will be handed out a diploma certifying its CMMI certification.

The act will count with the participation of D. Luis Prieto, General Deputy Manager for e-Economy of this Ministry, D. Vicente Alciturri, CONETIC President, and D. Tomás Iriondo, General President of GAIA.
The closing ceremony of the event will be led by D. David Cierco Jiménez de Parga, General Director for the Development of the Information Society.
