The e-Procurement model of the Basque Government has been put forward as candidate for the European Union eAwards

Bilbomática has been taking part since 2003 in the analysis, design, maintenance and evolution of the e-Procurement platform of the Basque Government. This platform has been put forward as candidate for the European Union e-Awards.
At this very moment, the candidacies are open for these awards. The organization of such awards has taken place under the Swedish Presidency, and they will be awarded during the 5th Ministerial Conference of the European Commission about e-Government development, which will take part in Malmoe (Sweden).
The e-Procurement model of the Basque Government has put forward its candidacy to the awards under the denomination:  “Basque Governments e-Procurement System (Spain, 2005-2009)”.
From Bilbomática we support this candidacy and we invite you all to vote for it. In order to vote for this project, the following should be taken into account:
1.    Everybody can vote.
2.    It is only possible to vote through ePractice (www.epractice.eu)
3.    Only those who have previously registered as users of ePractice will be able to vote. Registering is very simple and can be done from the Register menu, placed at the top of the ePractice web. It is necessary to fill in 11 information fields, aimed at very easy contents.
4.    In order to vote, you first need to log in the top menu of the ePractice web.
5.    It is then necessary to enter the Basque Government’s project, which is available through www.epractice.eu/en/cases/bgeps. (It is also possible to enter the project entering the “bgeps” acronym in the “search option”, placed at the top of the page).
6.    The search result will lead to the Project “Basque Governments eProcurement System (Spain, 2005-2009)”, which can be selected by clicking on the title of the project.
7.    Votes will be effective once being logged in ePractice and having highlighted the yellow stars, which will turn red and will display the desired vote. Obviously it is advisable to provide the biggest support possible by giving the highest score, that is, highlighting 5 stars.
