EUSKALMET launches a new weather information channel

The Basque Government and Ejie (Informatics Directorate for the Basque Government), together with Bilbomática, have set up a new channel for those Euskaltel’s customers having an interactive decoder (467 dial). The channel provides information on the weather forecast for the present day, the day after and the day after tomorrow, trends for the following days, sea state forecasts, temperature and rain maps, together with warnings on weather alerts, should it  be necessary.

The information is updated three times a day, from the data bases of the Basque Meteorology Agency- Euskalmet, and it is turned into a compatible format with the Basque Government’s e-Government infrastructure and with the platform of interactive services of Euskaltel.
