Gabriel Fernández has been appointed the company's new CEO. Fernández, who has been one of the leading Business Directors for the Northern Region in recent years, replaces Walter Mattheus, who is retiring after 34 years in the role. Gabriel Fernández holds a degree in Computer Engineering and a Master's in Software Engineering from the University of Deusto. With 30 years of experience at BILBOMÁTICA, he has played key roles in the company's development, demonstrating remarkable leadership and strategic vision in the information technology sector. Fernández began his career at BILBOMÁTICA and has held various positions within the company, establishing himself as one of the leading executives in northern Spain. His experience encompasses the management of large-scale projects and the implementation of innovative technological solutions, which has significantly contributed to the company's growth and consolidation within the IT sector.

New president
In addition, Josu Urrutia, former footballer and former president of Athletic Club, has been appointed as the new president. As a player, he spent his entire professional career at Athletic Club (1988-2003), playing 401 official matches. In 2011, he became president of the club until December 2018, leading, among other challenges, the move to the new San Mamés stadium and the beginning of the club's digital transformation.
