Last November, the LUCIA research consortium held its meeting, which this year was organized and actively participated in by the IBiS Institute of Biomedicine of Seville . During this meeting, several scientific sessions were held, which proved highly successful, with significant progress made in the discussion on lung cancer and in the practical workshops conducted.
One of the central themes of the meeting was the analysis of the latest advances in lung cancer research. Participants had the opportunity to share and discuss new approaches in diagnosis and treatment, as well as identify potential areas for future collaborative research.
Throughout the scientific sessions, participants explored the molecular mechanisms of the disease and the latest innovations to improve diagnostic and therapeutic accuracy. These exchanges of knowledge and the synergy between the different institutions involved were key to defining the next steps in this field.
Presentation of e-CRF for Clinical Data Management
The conference included the presentation of the results of the implementation of the e-CRF system, developed to manage data from patients involved in the study. This system allows for more efficient and secure data collection, and its use in clinical research facilitates real-time information integration, improving the quality and speed of studies.
The e-CRF system also offers advantages in terms of data accessibility and reliability, which is essential to ensure the accuracy of results in clinical trials and to facilitate long-term follow-up of participating patients.
The conference concluded with a positive assessment of the progress achieved, both in the field of scientific research and in the implementation of new technologies for the management of clinical data.
